Description

Heavy Duty Mechanic

TANK WEST CORP in Windthorst, Sask., is currently seeking a Mechanic to work in their Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Shop in Windthorst. The desired candidate will be punctual, provide good customer service, works well in a fast paced environment and must be able/eligible to perform SGI CVIP inspections. This is a Monday to Friday job with the odd Saturday shift, depending on customer needs.

Pay Rate: $25/hr - $30/hr Based on Experience

Job Description
- Diagnose problems and repairs
- Perform repairs to customer and internal trucks, trailers and rental equipment
- Perform SGI CVIP inspections
- Test repaired/replaced equipment and parts
- Ensure all parts used are accounted for on work orders
- Ensure all time is accounted for on work orders
- Assist in inventory counts as required
- Ensure preventative maintenance records are updated accordingly
- Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs as required
- Keep equipment in good working condition
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Other duties as assigned by Service Manager

Housing is available at a discounted rent for those interested in relocating.
