Description

The Coordinator, Community Engagement is responsible to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure the effective delivery of the Association'ss community based Engagement and volunteer led development initiatives as developed by the National Community Giving team. The Coordinator working with the Community Engagement lead in the region will be responsible for the execution of new business opportunities in all areas of Community Engagement including, Gala Events, Blue Circle campaign, 3rd Party Events, Service Clubs, Workplace and Employee Engagement as well as Residential Campaign.
    Achieve Community Engagement goals and objectives, including the program goals and benchmarks for each key community based Engagement program that falls within your region and scope.
    Recruitment, training, support and stewardship of a strong volunteer structure to assist in the effective delivery of community based activities
    In conjunction with the Regional Director and local staff and volunteers, promote Community Engagement relationships across the region and support local management with stewardship initiatives
    Implement regional strategies as developed by the National Community Giving team  to grow Community Engagement programs including Team Diabetes, Run for Diabetes, 3rd Party Events, Service Clubs, Workplace and  Employee Engagement and Residential Campaign
    Ensure effective implementation of priorities and milestones for volunteer committees in the region, while working in conjunction with regional volunteer coordinators.
    Work with the Regional Director and supervisor to develop a regional business plan to achieve regional program revenue and  targets for signature programs and events as developed by the National Community Giving team
