The following positions are open for employees of West Wind Aviation to apply for in our Prince Albert location.
DUTIES:
Customer Service
- Meet, greet and provide customer service to passengers and flight crews of all West Wind Aviation flights.
- Assist customers with concerns or issues, for example missing baggage or cargo.
- Selling and preparing airline tickets including accepting payment.
- Check in passengers, assign seats, manifest passengers and assist passengers with special needs.
- Check in or pick up baggage and cargo by ensuring baggage and cargo are tagged and stored appropriately while meeting Transport Canada Regulations.
Operations
- Provide passenger load information to various agencies as required.
- Ensure manifests, weights and balances are correct and complete.
Ramp
- Ensure safe movement and handling of company aircraft on the ramp areas. This includes marshalling aircraft, chocking aircraft, GPU services and tail stand.
- Load and unload aircraft or cargo and baggage in a safe and professional manner.
- Assist the flight operations and maintenance department in providing customer service and aviation services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly developed internal and external customer service skills complimented with telephone etiquette
- Ability to assess critical incidents and develop effective contingency plans
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift 50 100 lbs and work outdoors when required
- Flexibility to work shift work
