Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
One year post-graduate work experience desired, preferably in a Mental Health setting.  Experience with, and understanding of Mental Health and Addiction Programs is desirable.  Able to screen, assess, triage, and refer to the approprate Mental Health and/or Addiction Services.  Able to analyze complex situations, and respond appropriately.  Able to assess and triage clients displaying severe emotional problems.  Able to establish positive work relationships with clients, coworkers, community groups and organizations.  Able to work independent of frequent supervision.  Able to demonstrate organizational skills and possess the ability to meet the demands of balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities.  Able to cope well with sustained, work related emotional pressure.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under stress
Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment and organizational skills

Expected Up To Date: March 31, 2016
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
224.00 hours per 6 week rotation
