Working under the direct supervision of the Principal at the Nibwakawigmig Kinistin Education Centre, the successful candidate will:
Duties:
~Provide counseling and conflict resolution services to students and their families.
~ Provide in - service on a range of topics to promote healthy lifestyles with students
Qualifications:
~ Degree in Social Work with a major in Personal Counseling or Degree in Arts with a major in Psychology and Counseling
~ Minimum one year experience and demonstrated success in providing counseling services to students and their families
~ Valid Class 5 Driver's License

- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops

- Consult with teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies
- Co-ordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents and teachers
