We currently have an opening for full-time administrative assistant / bookkeeper. The successful candidate must:
-Have minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
-Have a strong work ethic
-Be highly organized with excellent decision-making skills
-Be able to work independently
-Have excellent business communication skills
-Be fluent in written and oral English
-Have good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Have experience with QuickBooks and Simply Accounting/Sage
-Have experience with payroll, GST and PST
Duties include:
-Reception
-Handling incoming and outgoing mail
-Filing and archiving
-Handling of CRA forms
-Assembly of corporate and personal tax packages
-Entering trial balances
-Communication with clients and CRA
-Bookkeeping and providing bookkeeping assistance to clients
-Drafting, reviewing and editing time-sensitive correspondence as sent by staff
-Assist in planning office functions
-Administrative assistance as requested by staff and partners
Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
Salary will be commensurate with education, experience and skills.
