Description

Phoenix Residential Society, a community based health care organization, has part time/ casual positions on nights in our McEwen Manor program.  Responsibilities include providing services in a residential setting to clients with psychiatric disorders, concurrent disorders of substance misuse and mental illness, and cognitive disorders.
This position involves responsibility for building security, crisis intervention, health care guidance and assistance to residents (i.e. medication dispensing, blood glucose/pressure), and support and follow through with residents Needs Assessment and Wellness Services plans.  Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. Training and orientation is provided.  
Shift work includes:  11:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. (Fri., Sat., and particularly Sun., as well as the possibility of coverage of shifts during the week)
