Description

Community Services Manager
This role coordinates, develops, and evaluates community based programming, events, and projects in North Central including Vibe: Family Recreation, Care & Share: seniors, meal and recreation, Renew Project: community clean-up and renewal, Go Green recycling and Community Gardens. The role supervises 2 part-time program coordinators, 3 seasonal employees and students on work placements.

The Organization
North Central Community Association has been a leader in community development for nearly 40 years. As one of Regina's most active community associations, it represents one of the most diverse populations in the city today. Although economic and social challenges still continue, North Central has risen above its adversity to become leader in social and economic reform.

Duties:
Recruit, supervise, train, and evaluate program staff and volunteers
Develop and oversee program budgets
Develop and maintain relationships with program partners and supporters
Proposal and grant writing and reporting
Ensure all program funding requirements are met on time
Establish and maintain program policies and procedures
Coordinate special events
Create promotional materials for recruitment of participants and volunteers

Qualifications:
Experience working with a diverse range of people
Experience developing and coordinating community based programs
Experience event planning
FoodSafe level 1, Class 5 Driver's license, and First Aid are all considered assets
Knowledge of North Central neighbourhood and organizations
Experience working with Non-profit organizations
Familiarity with MS Office Suite especially Word and Excel
Excellent organizational skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Diploma or other related post-secondary education in human service or business sectors
