Description

The Mechanical Division of IKONA Drafting is seeking an Intermediate Autodesk Inventor.

Qualifications:
- Must have Autodesk Inventor experience and good knowledge of Autodesk software (AutoCAD (3D modelling), Navisworksetc.).
- A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Design and Construction Engineering from an accredited Institute
- 3-5 years experience in complex mechanical design including sheet metal forming, fabrication, welding and assembly
- Industrial design experience would be considered an asset
- Industrial design experience and knowledge use 3D scanner (Faro) and its application would be considered as an asset.
- Exposure to the concepts of design for manufacturing, design for assembly, and design for maintenance would be an asset
-Good communication and organizational skills
-Confident, good imagination, initiative, creativity and desire to continuously learn
- Examine Drawings for Conformity and Errors
- Prepare Engineering Designs and Drawings
-Work in a team atmosphere and minimal supervision.

Note: Successful Candidate will be setup for an hour Interview comprised of Oral and Skills demonstration on Autodesk Inventor 2016.
