QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Hands on experience in a manufacturing or electronic assembly environment
helpful.
Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Database/MRP
software technically minded.
Detail oriented and accurate.
Experience with manual and electronic inspection instrumentation considered an asset.
Experience with Lean considered and asset.
Good mathematical skills and comprehension.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to handle stressful and negative situations in a calm and effective manner.
ISO training essential.
Work closely with production team members.
Soldering certification (training provided).
Completion of a 1 - 2 year College Diploma Program in Quality Assurance or in related discipline.
Technical and/or production activities: Minimum 6 months.

CORE DUTIES:
Nonconformance
of product investigations as administered by Management Team
Members.
Data entry & document control.
Develop and carry out work study/measurement and related programs (time,
process flow, effectiveness of manual and automated processes)
Document/technical writing.
Special testing of parts (with/for Special Test Manager or Production Manager)
using test equipment.
Develop applications for quality records, analytics/statistics.
Assist in the design of plant layouts.
Collect and compile operational or experimental data and assist in the
development of estimates, schedules, specifications and reports.
Working closely with the Production Manager to establish maintain and verify
production standards.
Assist in the development of manufacturing and processing procedures and
variables.
Report & statistics gathering of production where requested by Management Team Members.
Assisting customers with quality issues of parts manufactured/supplied.
Participates in various projects for business improvement.
Assist machine technicians in acquiring manufacture support, as needed.
Electronics assembly of customer products.
