Job Description:
- Intake applications from children, parents and
volunteers
- Includes orientation, interviewing, and home
visits
- Preparation of all administrative forms,
including case notes, case work statistical
recording
- Case work Maintenance
- Leading group sessions
- Matching children and volunteers, also providing
ongoing match support
-Volunteer recruitment in the community by
providing speaking engagements and community
awareness/education regarding programs.
-To ensure adequate financial support through
local fundraisers and sponsorships
Requirements:
- Technical / Applied Science Diploma
- Interviewing and assessment skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Effective communication skill
- Reliable vehicle
- Flexible work hours including evenings
- Ability to effectively speak to groups.
- Current criminal records check and child abuse
records check
- Experience preferred
