Reporting to the Mill Planning Supervisor, this position is responsible for the following:
-Collaborate with department personnel to enhance and optimize the utilization of the SAP PM module
-Propose and implement sustainable solutions to business issues/problems with input from business and technical stakeholders
-Teach all departments the method of creating notifications, work orders, purchase requisitions, etc.
-Inform clerical personnel on the processes used when closing work orders
-Work with the operations accountant to ensure proper posting of SAP software upgrades
Participate in ARC SAP team meetings
-Act as the first level of support to the Maintenance department in the area of user assistance, problem resolution, process leverage and end-user training
-Enter data and develop bill of materials catalogs
Inputs task lists and strategies that define effective scheduled maintenance work orders
-Maintain daily data entry such as notification, work order, and measurement point values
-Test transaction code functionality in the PM module prior to SAP software upgrades
-Maintain reports, records, and files in the SAP module
-Provide general clerical functions that include, but are not limited to, filing, general typing, data entry, procurement of office supplies, and maintenance of bulletin boards
Qualifications for the position include:
-Competent with MS Office
-Ability to learn and effectively utilize the SAP PM and MM modules. Experience in the SAP Plant -Maintenance module is considered an asset
-Efficient organizational ability
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Work well under minimal supervision
-Ability to interact with the public and department personnel in a professional manner
