Job Description: The Kaizen Specialist reports to the Kaizen Promotion Office Infrastructure Lead. The scope of this role is varied and serves to support system-wide process improvement.

Kaizen Specialists will be proficient in supporting Replication and Standard Work, RPIW's, Kaizen Basics, 3P events, Kanban and the 5S campaign as well as Training Within Industry (TWI) to meet the changing needs of the organization.
Required Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's Degree
Experience
3-5 years of successful employment and leadership in increasingly challenging positions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must possess ability to operate a personal computer utilizing spreadsheet and word processing applications, normal office equipment, video camera and other imaging equipment used in support of Kaizen activities.
Project management applications such as Microsoft Project are required.
Demonstrated interest and ability in teaching/coaching, process improvement, audit processes, and goal attainment is required.
Demonstrated ability in project management and ability to work and communicated effectively with multiple levels of the organization and in teams.
The incumbent must also demonstrate rigor in application of Kaizen tools and significant diplomacy in dealing with information, staff, physicians and leaders. The position requires individuals that are detail and process-oriented and have demonstrated project management ability.
This position is expected to become certified as a Lean Leader and fulfill ongoing maintenance requirements.
