Offer support and counseling to victims of sexual abuse/assault and their families and significant others.
Act as an advocate on clients behalf.
Maintain client records.
Keep updated on law reform, current events, techniques and developments regarding sexual assault.
Keep statistics.
Assist with volunteer programs as required.
Be on call as required.
Provide prevention education and/or inservice to community agencies, schools and general public, as required.
Assist with preparation, publication and distribution of educational material to community agencies, volunteers, students, membership and general public.
Assist with planning and participate in fund-raising activities for the Centre.
Perform other duties from time to time as required by the Executive Director.
*Valid drivers license and vehicle is required
*Up to date Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search required through the RCMP.
*Up to date Child Abuse Record Check through the Ministry of Social Services.
