Description

Our Regina, Saskatchewan based client is looking for a PowerBuilder Application Developer for a 3 year (Split) contract role in Regina.

My client is looking Application Developer (s) to join their IT team. This individual(s) will work in a collaborative, team environment to support the technical/administrative and programmatic delivery of enterprise class solutions that address the business need
.
    Delivering and documenting new solutions built in a variety of technologies
    Delivering solutions that integrate into/leverage existing enterprise systems
    Preparing detailed written/visual documentation (using Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Interfacing with clients to help understand their needs
    The ability to troubleshoot problems and delivering timely resolutions to said problems

Qualifications  Mandatory Requirements
    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a technical diploma with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the Information Technology sector.
    Minimum 8 years experience with PowerBuilder (with a preference for versions 8 up to 12.5) as a business application developer.
    Minimum 5 years experience using Oracle Database as a business application developer.
    Minimum 5 years experience using MS SQL Server as a business application developer.
    Minimum 5 years experience using PL/SQL as a business application developer.
    Minimum 4 years experience using DB2 as a business application developer.
    Minimum 3 years experience using Java EE as a business application developer.
    Minimum 2 years experience using WebSphere as a business application developer.
    Minimum 2 years experience deploying applications in a Citrix environment.
    Successful completion of at least one (1) application development project as an application developer in an intermediate or higher role.
    Minimum 5 years experience communicating complex and highly technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
