Amec Foster Wheelers Mining business is seeking a Planner/Scheduler located at our Saskatoon office. Reporting to the Manager, Project Services, and working alongside other team members locally, you will have the opportunity to provide support on one of our major projects. If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast paced environment, this opportunity is for you. The successful candidate must be located within a reasonable commute to the Saskatoon, SK office.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining Project schedules with project team members (EPCM)
Providing team with decision support and tracking reports
Monitoring progress against plans and schedules and reporting on status.
Analyzing the CPM
Creating integrated project schedules
Maintaining and updating project schedules
Working with engineers and contractors
Resource management and forecasting
Two week look aheads
Assessing and re-planning
Role Requirements
Strong Project planning, scheduling, and project execution experience is essential
Minimum of 10 15 years experience in project controls, planning, and scheduling
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Scheduler experience
Experience with mining & metal projects would be an asset
Strong skills with the suite of Primavera (P-6) products
Strong skills with the suite of Microsoft Office products
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
Ability to work with diverse groups, from top level executive to field foreman
Effective communication and presentation
