Position is located in Estevan, Saskatchewan.
Duties;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Check heavy construction equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Inspect, repair and service straight trucks, Tractors and trailers
- Inspect, repair and service to on / off road equipment as assigned
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Service attachments and working tools such as plate tampers, jackhammers, buckets, blades etc
- Order Parts for repairing and maintaining equipment
Qualifications
Your own tools preferred
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components; Must have tickets
Welding abilities preferred.
Valid 1A drivers license
The ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical problems with minimum vehicle downtime
Demonstrated ability to work alone in fast paced environment
