GLEN PETERSON CONSTRUCTION LTD HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 70 YEARS AND IS A SASKATCHEWAN LEADER IN AGGREGATE, TRUCKING, CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION AND SEWER AND WATER INSTALLATIONS.

GLEN PETERSON CONSTRUCTION LTD IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS TO SERVICE, REPAIR AND MAINTAIN OUR FLEET AND EQUIPMENT

    Competitive wages (Negotiable depending on experience)
    Full insurance Benefits package after 3 months
    Position is located in Estevan, Saskatchewan.
Duties;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Check heavy construction equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Inspect, repair and service straight trucks, Tractors and trailers
- Inspect, repair and service to on / off road equipment as assigned
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Service attachments and working tools such as plate tampers, jackhammers,  buckets, blades etc
- Order Parts for repairing and maintaining equipment

Qualifications
Your own tools preferred
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components; Must have tickets
Welding abilities preferred.  
Valid 1A  drivers license  
The ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical problems with minimum vehicle downtime
Demonstrated ability to work alone in fast paced environment
Team player
