Description

Autism Services is looking for an amazing leader, passionate about coaching and guiding a multi-disciplinary team of professionals working directly with children/youth and their families. Living with Autism Spectrum Disorders presents unique challenges to individuals, families, communities. We need someone up to the challenge of finding innovative ways to offer support, training, skills development and hope for families.
The ideal candidate will have:
Masters Degree in clinical human service fields such as Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapy, Psychologist, ABA, Social Work;
A minimum of two years of experience in the development, management and evaluation of special needs programming; with programs specific to an ASD population an asset;
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in the development, delivery and coordination of ASD specific treatment program plans for children/youth with ASD is required;
Experience in the development and delivery or ABA or IBI program will be an asset;
Experience in the clinical and administrative supervision, management and support of a large group of professional and direct service staff is required;
A background in ASD assessment and intake, experience in working on multi-disciplinary teams, coordination skills and family support experience is desired;
Possess strong collaborative, leadership, facilitative, advocacy and interpersonal skills;
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and demonstrated ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with other team members within and across departments and with external stakeholders  families, members, funders, collateral agencies, government;
Thorough working knowledge of autism and the community of agencies providing services to individuals with autism and their families.
