RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach and manage Account Managers to achieve sales targets, using effective sales processes.
- Maintain high visibility and build strategic relationships with key accounts; accompany Account Managers on customer calls.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the region to attain company sales goals, profitability and increased market share.
- Work with Corporate Credit Manager to assess risks and support efforts for corrective action where required.
- Implement training programs for outside sales staff.
- Develop collaborative working relationship with Inside Sales group to ensure sales programs are being supported and promoted.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors; ensure they are providing market support.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Minimum five years experience managing, leading, and coaching an outside business-to-business sales team
- Working experience with disciplines of call management
- Demonstrated effective professional sales skills with business-to-business customers and key accounts
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Strong relationship builder able to establish both internal and external working relationships
- Excellent English communication skills; proven ability to express complex ideas in simplified logical manner
- Strong business acumen to assess and respond to local market conditions
- Self-disciplined with good time management and organization abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, and ERP systems
Education
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in business
- Professional sales training

- Drivers license with a clean driving record
- Able to travel within MB and SK approx. 50% of the time
