The Warehouse Lead works alongside the warehouse team and supports the Warehouse Manager. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to picking, shipping and receiving orders, as well as face-to-face customer service. S/he helps load and unload trucks, and completes general labour in the warehouse. This is a full-time, permanent position with on the job training provided for growth and advancement.
Applicants shall meet the following requirements:
- Good physical condition; able to lift up to 75 lbs. alone
- Self-starter, ability to work well independently and in cooperation with others
- Solid communication and customer service skills
- Ability to recognize and retain numbers (picking based on 7-digit number codes)
- Provide own steel toe boots
- Overhead door knowledge and forklift operator training are an asset but not required
- Possess valid drivers licence
