Description

What will you be working on?
*Maintain a thorough oil analysis program of selected equipment which includes collecting samples and reporting on the results.
*Monitor and report on the condition of various equipment and computerized vibration analysis equipment and thermograph testing.
*Assist in continuous improvement of underground operations with the continual development of predictive maintenance practices.
*Perform ultrasonic and dye penetrant test on shafts and other machine components as required during inspections.
*Fluently read all drawings, prints, sketches and parts manuals.

What is required for this role?
*A Diploma from a recognized institute as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist or equivalent Engineering Technologist program.
*One year experience in a mining or industrial operation.
*Successful completion of two level I certifications in either of Vibration, Infrared, Airborne ultrasound or Lubrication (MLA1 or MLT1).
*Knowledge of materials, machine components, industrial equipment and industrial machinery.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the Internet, AutoCAD and data management software.
