Training is provided on an ongoing basis, but experience maybe necessary. Job Duties: wrapping/unwrapping hives; spring and fall maintenance of hives; feeding; creating nucs; queen rearing; supering hives; pulling honey; moving bees (evenings & some weekends if need be); must be able to carry honey supers(80+ lbs) to the truck deck and assist withextracting honey.
You maybe asked to do other assorted duties with regards to the apiary work.
Asset: the capability of driving standard trucks preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's licence.
Work Hours: an average of 40 hours per week.
Location of Work: SE 14-56-8- W of 3.
Education: no formal education required by you need to have basic reading, writing, and numeracy; to be able to write daily reports would be a asset.
Work Experience: 1-2 years of beekeeping experience.
