Then this position is for you. We are looking for a personal care worker for a male quadriplegic in east Regina. You will be the arms and legs to help this man live his best life.
You will be coming into a home setting and will be working with all the latest technology and equipment making it a safe and inviting work environment. These positions are ideal for anyone, including students or someone who is retired looking to keep busy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting with exercise and range of motion.
Assist with dressing and undressing.
Transfer, using ceiling track, between bed, wheelchair and commode.
Positioning in bed.
Help with shower, brushing teeth and brushing hair.
Getting clothes out for the next day
Assist with self catheterization.
Bowel care.
Meal preparation.
Clean and tidy up after performing other duties.
Other personal care & light duties as directed.
Be respectful of the client and the households.
Willingness to fill in as a back-up for other shifts
Willingness to work overnights when needed (10:30pm-7:30am)
Occasional traveling away from home.

Hours:
There are 4 positions available
1. Monday/Wednesday/Fri from 7:30am-12:00pm
2. Tuesday/Thursday from 7:30am-12:00pm
3. Tuesday/ Thursday 7:00pm-10:00pm
4. Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00pm - 10:00pm, Saturday, Sunday 7:30am - 12:00pm
