New Hope Dog Rescue is an innovative registered charity devoted to the rescue of unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs and is seeking a dedicated Fundraising and Events Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in planning events and fundraisers, is able to recruit sponsors, participants and volunteers, as well as, develop corporate relationships. The candidate is expected to oversee NHDRs fundraising programs. He/she should be a self-motivated individual with excellent leadership skills, professional polish, consistent demeanour, positive management style, and excellent communication and written skills. He/she must be an outstanding leader who motivates others, but also is a consummate team player. The individual must be able to work a flexible schedule, have strong computer and social media skills and knowledge of non-profit budgeting and financial practices. Ability to travel to and for fundraising and promotional events is required. Animal welfare knowledge is helpful but not required.
