We are currently seeking Process Operator Technician's at our Belle Plaine, SK location. The successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring the refinery process and making adjustments for corrective action to ensure efficient and reliable operation. The Process Operator Technician training program offers a continuous progression through various production areas, as well as the opportunity to receive a journeyman trade certification.

What will you be working on?
* Independently monitoring process conditions and equipment operation such as flows, temperatures, pressures, pumps, fans, pressure vessels, dryers, centrifuges, elevators, conveyors, compactors, screens, etc.).
* Making changes to process set points to avoid upsets and correct inconsistencies which reduce overall plant efficiency.

What is required for this role?
* Grade 12/GED.
* Trades training is an asset - specifically in millwrighting, pipefitting, instrumentation, power engineering or electrical trades.
* Experience working in an industrial setting with process and/or trades experience is an asset.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to resolve process upsets through troubleshooting and problem solving.
* Ability/desire to learn independently; self-motivated, enthusiastic.
* Shift work is required.
