Working out of the OlySky L.P. Head Office in Humboldt, SK, we are currently recruiting a Carpenter, responsibilities include:
-Completion of centrally delivered facility and equipment maintenance projects including truss repair
-Ensure that all work is of high quality and meets codes and professional standards.
-Obtain all the required permits.
-Emergency response to system, equipment, or structural problems
-Provide support to the Project Supervisor
-Operate basic tools
-Comply with all Bio Security and Animal Welfare protocols
-Maintain a safe work environment
-Leave all work sites clean and tidy
-Attend centrally organized training programs.
-Other duties as required
Education and experience required
-Journeyman and Apprentice are required
-Construction experiences is an asset
-Ability to work independently, be safety conscious, and self starter
-Effective time management skills
-Hold a valid drivers license
Transportation/Travel Information
- Valid driver's licence
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- 4th Period Apprentice
