Job Responsibilities:
-Travel in mobile unit to conduct onsite audio tests for businesses.
-Completing output verification of portable audiometers.
-Responsible for the proper maintenance and cleanliness of testing equipment.
-Maintain accurate statistics of all tests performed.
-Submit accurate accounts of all services performed for the purpose of accurate billing.
-Stay informed on drug and alcohol, audiometric, and lung function testing protocols, as well as types of personal protective equipment.
-Measuring ambient noise levels in screening environments.
-Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by observing universal precautions and infection control procedures, and adhering to and enforcing rules regarding safety.
Education and Experience:
-Completion of related certification from an accredited institute
-One-year audiometric technician experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in a similar or related clinical setting preferred.
-Valid drivers licence
-Reliable vehicle (Mobile Unit is provided but can only be driven in ideal conditions)
Working Conditions:
-Travel to client locations within Saskatchewan
