We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated and customer focused Senior Clerk to join our Collections Team in Yorkton. Prime responsibilities will be to proactively contact customers of outstanding accounts in order to receive, investigate and process payment arrangements. Duties include handling customer inquiries regarding outstanding accounts, assisting with adjustments / omissions required, record keeping of account activity and status via data entry. This position involves diplomatic, customer focused interaction with customers through outbound calling to collect payments and support any account inconsistencies in order to facilitate payments. Other duties include related administrative functions.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum Grade XII education having successfully completed Level 30 Algebra or Math B30 and 1 year call center or related work experience. Other qualifications to be successful in this position are strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner. Computer skills should include familiarity with Excel and Word programs. Shift work is a requirement to meet the needs of our national customer base.
