Type: Permanent Part Time
City/Town: Lloydminster/Meadow Lake/North Battleford
Facility: PN-COMMUNITY HEALTH
Department: PNCH-PUBLIC HLTH NRS
Hours of Work:
In a 6 week rotation: 22 shifts of 8.00 hours
Salary or Pay Band:
$38.080 to $47.490 (6 step range)

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Valid Class 5 drivers license

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Advanced assessment skills
Advanced change management skills
Advanced communication skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Advanced organizational skills
Knowledge of population health

Additional Text:
This is a regional position currently based out of Meadow Lake.
Some evening and/or weekend work may be expected.

One year public health experience required. In the absence of a qualified candidate, the employer would be willing to consider a candidate with equivalent experience relevant to the work which might include but not be limited to home care, labour and delivery, postpartum, pediatrics, community health or primary health.
