JOB SUMMARY
The Heavy-Duty Truck and Trailer Technician diagnoses and completes repairs and/or services on heavy-duty trucks/buses and transportation equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES
Responsible for the inspections, diagnosis, and repair of both tractors and trailers
Perform scheduled maintenance service
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Must contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility
QUAILFICATIONS
Red Seal Journeyperson
Equipped with an adequate supply of hand tools
Safety Inspections Certificate would be considered an asset
Valid Class 1A Drivers licence
Demonstrated problem-solving ability
Basic computer software knowledge
