L&M Wood Products is looking for a saw filer/saw grinder to add to the Maintenance department.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate safe and proper work practices. You will be part of a maintenance team and will be required to communicate with others. This person will need to show the ability to work unsupervised and keep inventory and time records. Our filing room handles all saws, knives and guides for our operation. The saw filers are also responsible for saw, knife and guide changes as well as assisting in alignment and quality control.
You will be required to have a pre-employment medical, have or be willing to be trained in First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, Lock Out/Tag Out. You must be physically fit, able to lift 25 lbs, go up and down stairs, be very detail orientated. L&M Wood Products is willing to train a mature inexperienced person who is willing to learn and wanting to be part of our growing, safety conscious team.
