We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to take a lead role developing our Engineering Department at our Regina office. It is expected that this engineering lead position will expand to include supervision of junior engineering, design and CAD personnel. This unique opportunity is available to someone interested in making a difference by shaping the direction and goals of our engineering department. You will be exposed to both-in-house design and study functions as well as field-orientated project construction, commissioning and testing assignments.
Responsibilities:
-Power system studies; short circuit, coordination, power flow, arc flash, etc
-Industrial electrical engineering design
-Plant engineering & reliability engineering support for a variety of industrial & utility clients
-Application, design, configuration & commissioning of process control systems distribution & process automation equipment
-Writing technical reports related to studies or service calls
-Communication point of contact for customers
-Provide technical services & support to internal/external customers
Qualifications:
-Post-Secondary education in Electrical Engineering
-Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an industrial setting or consulting environment
-Working knowledge of electrical protection, industrial process control & automation applications
-Proven problem solving & analytical skills
-Possess strong organizational, interpersonal & communication skills
-Works effectively under time constraints, adapts to change, able to work alone, as well as enjoys participating in a team environment
