POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the major projects department, project delivery office, you will report to the sr. construction manager.
You will be responsible for the planning and safe execution of commissioning and start-up activities to ensure safe, successful and effective start-up of all projects within the major projects portfolio in accordance with Camecos processes, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements. You will ensure that new or modified facilities/assets are commissioned and started up safely, including handover from the project to site operations. You will provide leadership and oversight to commissioning teams, involve key stakeholders, coordinate resources and integrate project knowledge with construction, commissioning and operations as well.
You will ensure safety is at the forefront of all activities performed.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in engineering or journeyperson trade certification
Eight to 12 years of relevant work experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Strong communication skills
Intermittent travel to Camecos northern sites
Assets:
Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
