David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an individual to provide functional support and consultation to business users on best practices for leveraging our client's Sharepoint investments.
The incumbent will have a minimum 10 years of recent and practical IT experience, including several years working in a business support role, and have a broad and solid understanding of Sharepoint 2013, collaboration platform design, and information architecture principles.
The Role:
Working with the Enterprise Information Management Governance council to establish and communicate best practices related to collaboration technologies
Leading Sharepoint design with an enterprise perspective in alignment with our strategies for asset management and information architecture
Working closely with business groups to provide them the ability to self-manage their Sharepoint environments
Developing communications and training strategies and materials
Acting as a representative of Information Systems
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience influencing and establishing collaboration direction within an organization
Practical experience working directly with business users
Certification in organizational change management (PROSCI)
Practical experience in developing communications and training materials
Sharepoint 2013 power user certifications
Practical experience in information architecture
Experience working in a utility or engineering industry
