The Manufacturing Rep will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the Utility, Livestock, Industrial Trailer, and Agricultural Manufacturing Equipment segments.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
-The successful candidate will be a self-starter who works well independently and is comfortable travelling; has excellent communication and relationship management skills and applies a disciplined and systematic approach to sales planning and research.
-The ideal candidate will have Outside Sales experience and preference would be given to candidates familiar with manufacturing sales and/or the trailer marketplace.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
-The Outside Sales Manufacturing representative:
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in Western Canada to generate new business for the National Trailer Parts products & services.
-Participates in trade shows and conventions.
-Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
-Researches various sources for developing prospective customers and for supporting information to determine their potential.
Analyzes the existing territory and new market potential.
-Develops clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
-Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints with a focus on relationship management.
-Coordinates sales effort with sales representative, sales manager, accounting, logistics and service teams at National Trailer Parts.
-Provides management and the sales team with daily oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential.
-Keeps abreast of product applications, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and sales personnel.
