Description

Reporting to the Project Geologist, these positions are responsible for the following duties:

- Work on any of AREVAs exploration projects, in accordance with the Project Geologist and/or the District Geologist.
- Collect and interprets field data related to ongoing drilling programs.
- Enter data in database.
- Provide, as required, written/oral presentation of results: maps, sections, tables, etc.
- Assist the Project Geologist in supervision of Geo-Technicians.
- Must be fully aware of his/her role and responsibilities as defined in the ISO 14001 Core Procedures and support files and will comply with the AREVA Resources Canada Inc. Exploration Department Environmental Policy.
- Will comply with the health, safety, radiation protection standards in force at AREVA Resources Canada Inc. Will enforce these standards with Exploration employees as applicable.

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
- Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewans North (RSN).
- University Degree in Geology (B.Sc., M. Sc.)
- Solid background in geology, structural geology, and geochemistry.
- Some experience in exploration is an asset.
- Good computer skills are essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must understand geology of prospects and deposits.
- Must be discovery oriented and motivated.
- Be scientific and logical, able to summarize large amounts of data.
- Excellent social skills, prepared and physically able to work in difficult and isolated conditions.
- Good decision making abilities
- Valid drivers license.

Work Location & Schedule: Based in the Saskatoon Office. Pre-dominantly field-based position; will spend several months per year in exploration camps or  mine sites in Northern Saskatchewan or Alberta as exploration programs require.
