Description

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Enhanced Service Delivery is now accepting applications for the following term position, based out of La Ronge, for a three (3) month contract with a possible extension pending funding:

DATA ENTRY CLERK

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Data Entry Clerk will form part of the Enhanced Service Delivery Program team through LLRIB Social Development. The position is responsible for ensuring client data is accurately entered into the TAS system on a regular basis and producing updates on statistical information gathered.  The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with the ESD Program Coordinator, the ESD Case Workers and the Director of Social Development. The successful candidate will maintain an adequate confidential filing system and will also provide clerical support to ESD staff as required.  The Data Entry Clerk may also assist with administering financial payments to vendors and clients if required.

Qualifications:

- 1 or 2 years of relevant post-secondary training in office education and/or computers;
- Experience in data entry, maintaining and updating a data base is required;
- Fast and accurate keyboarding ability;
- Proficiency in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access;
- Excellent task planning and office organizational skills including filing;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client files and other relevant program information;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Ability to speak Cree an asset.
