We have an immediate opening for a full-time Database Administrator, to join CAA Saskatchewan`s Technology Services Team in Regina.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The incumbent of this position will operate in an intermediate support role, responsible for advanced database administration of CAA Saskatchewan's database infrastructure.
- Responsibilities for all aspects of database infrastructure, including but not limited to the following:
o Data remains consistent across the databases;
o Ability for users to access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs;
o Provision for data security and recovery control;
o Database marketing tasks and duties, in order to provide assistance to the marketing team through tracking and analyzing.

- Demonstrates awareness of the business priorities, objectives and business drivers.
- Awareness of what Technical Services can deliver to the business, including latest trends and capabilities.
- Uses, understands and interprets best practice policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates management skills, and overall control of processes.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Exceptional organizational and communications skills.
-Articulation of information in both written and verbal form.
- Demonstrated proficiency in use of multiple computer programs, operating systems and programming languages including but not limited to: Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, various scripting languages and Windows Server environment. Knowledge of UNIX systems is not required but would be an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or similar.
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar field.
