The Peepeekisis First Nation requires a Support Clerk who will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the Health Director, Health Community, and other members of our health team.
Duties:
- Some reception
- Answering phones, taking messages and re-directing calls occasionally
- Scheduling of meetings
- Health meeting minute-taking, transcribing
- Gathering/inputting data related to health
- Arranging travel plans for health staff
- Maintain weekly, yearly work schedules, calendars in conjunction with the Health Director, Health portfolio, and health staff
- Complete expense reports, pay invoices
- Gather documents from health staff for reporting purposes
- Sign an Oath of Confidentiality
- Set up templates for health programs
- Photocopying, faxing
- Other duties as set out in Job description associated to health
The successful candidate should possess the following qualities:
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Office Education, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in the clerical field, minimum of six months
- Must have knowledge of computer system (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledge of monthly reporting systems
- Sound knowledge of the health system
- Knowledge of First Nation customs, culture, and traditions
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Clean drivers abstract
