Maki Services, a local cylinder remanufacturing and repair shop, has an immediate opening for an Accountant.

The Accountant will be responsible for accounting and reporting duties for a wide range of accounting activities related to shop operations.  This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and costing activities, cash flow, sub-ledger maintenance, journal entries and financial statements, shop productivity reports, and margin analysis.

The successful candidate will have the ability to independently manage multiple tasks on a timely basis, with strong organization and computer skills, good communication skills, and excellent attention to accuracy and detail.  Candidates should possess post-secondary accounting training (diploma, certificate or degree) preferably with at least 5 years' experience in a computerized accounting environment. Equivalent combinations of education and/or experience will be considered.
