Description

Tree Slasher/Brush Clearing (8 Positions)
Term: On-going
Location: Lloydminster, AB & Regina, SK
Salary: $22 - $26/hr
Hours of Work: 10 hour days. Shifts as project requires or 21-10.
Meals: $30/day when travelling.
Hotels: Provided for season with exception of long weekends.

Based out of Lloydminster AB, Marksmen Vegetation Management Inc. provides industrial locations with vegetation control.  We are a growing, expanding company providing over 23 years of service to our clientele. At Marksmen we are dedicated to providing high quality customer service.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

    Promoting corporate safety values by following work plans and project level hazard assessments.
    Demonstrate knowledge on proper felling techniques.
    Maintain a high level of technical knowledge in regards to chainsaws and chainsaw operations.
    If qualified, run a skid steer with mulcher attachment as per safe work practice and standard operating procedures.
    1A or UTT/UTW considered an asset.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have valid first aid certification, class 5 drivers license and chainsaw safety certification. A Farming background is considered an asset as well as an understanding of railway operations. All employees must pass insurance approval of drivers abstract.
