EXECUTIVE CHEF


Brightwater Senior Living of Yorkton, a 79 suite personal care and memory care community currently under construction, and is due to open the first part of 2016 is seeking an Executive Chef who will manage our food services program.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    Assuring adherence to highest food-related safety and sanitation standards.  
    Preparing and serving nutritious, appetizing, and attractive meals three times daily seven days per week.
    Preparing and serving special diets and special diet textures.
    Managing dining services staff by recruiting, interviewing, training, supervising, and evaluating performance, assuring a strong cohesive team.
    Operating dining service department within food and labor budgets.
    Maintaining accurate records and submission of reports and invoices in a timely manner.


Must be at least 21 years old, and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Applicant must possess Culinary Arts degree with two years experience in direct food preparation and kitchen/staff management experience.  Experience in a healthcare setting, personal care home, or large retirement community with high volume cooking is preferred.
