Fusion Sports & Recreation Centre is currently looking for Artistic Gymnastics Coaches, Learn 2 Play Coaches, Cheerleading Coaches and Acro Coaches 16 years + as well as assistant junior coaches in both Melfort & Tisdale. We have multiple positions that will start immediately. These positions come with professional development opportunities along with other perks of working with FSRC.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
-Planning Daily Activities
-Assessing Athletes on a Daily and Progression Basis
-Leading Small Groups of both Boys and Girls at a Recreational and Pre-Competitive Level
-Supervising Junior Helpers and Volunteers
-Assisting Other Coaches
-Set Up and Take Down of Equipment
-Inspecting Equipment on a Daily Basis
-Complete Daily Attendance Reports
-Assist with Promotion and Advertising i.e. social media, assistance at registration nights, etc.
Requirements:
-Gymnastics Foundations Artistic Gymnastics Certified or willing to Obtain Certification
-Gymnastics Foundations Active Start Certified or willing to Obtain Certification
-NCCP Level 2 Womens or Mens Artistic Gymnastics Certification would be a Great Asset
-Background in Dance and/or Choreography is a definite Asset
-Respect in Sport (online) or willing to Obtain
-Making Ethical Decisions or willing to Obtain
-Concussion Awareness (online) or willing to Obtain
-Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector
