Kova Engineering (Saskatchewan) Ltd. is a diverse and unique engineering and consulting company in the crane and lift equipment industry.  We are looking for an Inspector to join our Saskatoon team.

Reporting to the Inspection Services Manager, an Inspector performs non-destructive examinations and records results in accordance with company policy.  Inspectors set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.  Inspectors use methods of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as visual and magnetic particle testing.

Typical job duties include:
- Performing NDT examinations on cranes and lifting equipment for cracks, fatigue, signs of corrosion, or other defects.
- Interpreting and/or evaluating NDT examination results and findings in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Preparing organized reports detailing examination findings and repair procedures
- Assisting engineering staff by reporting project information from job sites including sketching, measuring and recording dimensions, and photographing equipment or structures.
- Travelling to job sites within central and northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Requirements:
-  Grade 12 or GED
-  Satisfactory near vision acuity and colour vision
-  Valid driver's license
-  Mechanical aptitude
