Description

The Prince Albert Grand Council (PAGC) First Nations Student Success Project is seeking the services of a highly qualified and experienced Education Technology Specialist. He/she will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to implement high impact education technology practices in PAGC Schools, Grade 1 to 3. Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education.
- Demonstrated success as a classroom teacher with knowledge and mastery of a variety of effective instructional strategies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of elementary and middle school curriculum, and cognitive development.
- Demonstrated ability in use a variety of technologies and application through coursework, workshop participation, and completed projects and products.
- Ability to identify and evaluate software and make recommendations for its use in alignment with curriculum.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- Must Provide satisfactory criminal record check.

Experience:
- Learning the basics of using technologies.
- Using technologies to support instruction.
- Integrating new technologies into classroom practices.
- Discovering new uses for technology tools.
- Designing projects that combine multiple technologies.
- Focusing on cooperative, project-based and interdisciplinary work with technology being just one of the many tools that students use.
