Provides clerical support to the Laboratory such as word processing, receptionist, maintaining electronic and paper information filing and retrieval systems and data management functions, ensuring the efficient operation of the work area.
Perform data entry into the Laboratory Information System.
Maintain electronic and paper record files.
Provide word processing services and data management functions for the Laboratory.
Ensure the efficient operation of the work area.
Perform telephone responsibilities.
Maintain Laboratory Offsite Records.
Secondary School Diploma.
Minimum one year related experience including data entry and knowledge of good record keeping practices is required.
Working knowledge of personal computers within a Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and email software.
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Effective organizational and time management skills, including priority setting.
Experience and competence in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications with a minimum keyboard speed of 45 wpm.
