Description

Job Summary:
This position in the Retail Sales Department is responsible for the profitable management of Saputo Dairy Products through Regional retail accounts in Regina and surrounding areas.

Job Duties:
The Sales Representative is responsible for:
    Effectively manage Saputo's current business as well as build new category volume;
     Form excellent customer/supplier relationships at all levels in the organization ;      
    Prospect new business opportunities through new category development;
    Maintains a high degree of market and dairy industry knowledge;
    Communicate internally amongst Saputo Sales Staff, Finance, Operations and Distribution department   to maximize opportunities with these customers;
    Maintains a high level of competitor knowledge in terms of products, pricing, discounts and sales levels;
    Special projects as required or assigned.

Required Qualifications:
    A degree/diploma in sales & marketing or equivalent and training desired;
    Minimum 3-5 years experience in retail sales, preferably in grocery, club and convenience store environment;
    Strong track record of excellence in achieving sales and margin targets;
    Dependable and team oriented with a history of being a strategic thinker capable of defining and executing strategies;
    Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
    Problem solving and decision making skills along with planning and organization skills;
    Ability to work under pressure in a multi-tasking, high priority environment;
    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
    English/French bilingual an asset.
