MLT is an expertise-based, full-service law firm of 140 lawyers servicing clients across Western Canada from offices in Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.  Over the past decade we have developed a significant regional presence in the west, and are one of the 30 Largest Law Firms in Canada (Lexpert/American Lawyer Media).

As the Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for managing and leading a team that will support and help create business development initiatives and opportunities across the firm's five offices.

The primary responsibilities include:
1.  Building and managing a support team that will assist and work with our legal professionals in furthering business development.
2.  Managing and supporting the preparation of responses to RFPs and client proposals.
3.  Promoting the MLT brand throughout Western Canada including development of online and print materials that can be effectively used to promote our expertise in MLT markets.
4.  Managing the MLT website to ensure it remains current, relevant and user friendly.
5.  Managing social media and CRM usage in the firm to ensure optimal utilization of these tools.

The position requires a Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration (preferably a major in marketing or entrepreneurship) or comparable post-secondary education.

The successful candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience ideally to include business development for a professional services firm.
