The Co-op Refinery Complex, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Agent.

Our workforce of over 1,000 employees operates a world-class refinery, utilizing cutting-edge technology to produce 130,000 barrels of refined petroleum products per day. With an annual production capacity of 6.8 billion litres, we are one of Canadas largest refineries, distributing our products to more than 780 retail gas bar and cardlock locations from Vancouver Island to Northwestern Ontario.  Our focus is on fueling our people to lead our industry in safety, reliability and sustainability.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, procurement of parts, consumables, equipment and supplies; working with stakeholders to determine supply needs, quality, and delivery requirements; reviewing purchase requisitions and price quotations; maintaining appropriate inventory levels for spare parts and consumables and liaising with operating departments to ensure inventory requirements are effectively met; and administering vendor registrations, vendor/contractor evaluations, and pricing reviews.

Qualifications include the completion of a Business Administration or Commerce diploma along with a minimum 3 years related experience. The completion of, or progress on the completion of, the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) diploma would be an asset.
