Description

Potzus Ltd is one of Saskatchewans largest construction companies. Established in 1966 we are a second generation family owned and operated business providing top quality work to the Government of Saskatchewan, various municipalities and the private sector. Day to day operations include earth moving, site prep, aggregate production, paving, and excavation.

We are seeking applications for an experienced Equipment & Maintenance Manager based out of Yorkton. Main duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:

-Develop, maintain and administer the service and maintenance program for our heavy equipment and vehicle fleet.
-Responsible for working with the Shop Foreman to coordinate, track, and schedule equipment maintenance.
-Assist the Safety Advisor with equipment accident investigation and documentation.
-Travel to multiple worksites and conduct regular equipment inspections.
-Working with field supervisors and staff on ensuring pre-trips are completed and deficiencies are noted.
-Analyze maintenance costs and provide recommendations on fleet utilization and replacement.


The ideal candidate will have:

-3-5yrs experience as a Maintenance or Equipment Manager.
-Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent past mechanical experience is a MUST.
-Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Fleet Management software.
-The capability to demonstrate, inform and train supervisors and staff in proper maintenance protocols.
-The ability to travel is a necessary requirement.
-Able to work independently and as a part of the management team.
